Kind Paws Rescue, based in Seville, Ohio, is a volunteer-run nonprofit dedicated to saving dogs from rural and high-risk shelters—places where their futures are often uncertain. Founded by Allyson Novak, whose years of hands-on experience with other rescues opened her eyes to the growing crisis in the rescue world, Kind Paws was born from a deep desire to be a voice for the voiceless.

At Kind Paws, we believe that every dog deserves a chance to feel safe, loved, and wanted. As a foster-based rescue, our dogs aren’t kept in kennels—they’re welcomed into homes, where they begin to heal, trust, and truly shine. With no paid staff and no facility, we rely entirely on the hearts of our volunteers and the support of our community. Together, we’re committed to giving these dogs not just a second chance, but the life they’ve always deserved.
